What this tool does
Clean PDF runs a privacy cleanup over a PDF, clearing the hidden data a document carries before you share it, starting with the metadata: author, producer, and the created and modified timestamps. It is a quick pre-share pass that keeps a file from quietly revealing who made it or what produced it. For images and other content, pair it with the dedicated PDF tools.
How it works
Open your PDF and the tool reads it in your browser, clears the hidden document data, and gives you a clean copy to download. Re-scan the result to confirm what came out. Your original file is never changed and nothing is uploaded.
