What this tool does

Remove Images from PDF permanently deletes embedded image objects (photos, scans, exported graphics) from a PDF while keeping text and vector content fully selectable and searchable. The image data is removed from the file itself, not just hidden, so the result is genuinely lighter and safe to share. Your wording and layout stay exactly as they were.

How it works

Upload a PDF and click Remove images. The tool finds every embedded image object in the document, deletes that image data, and strips the now-dangling references from each page, all locally in your browser. It then downloads a cleaned copy with the images removed. The original PDF is unchanged.

When to use Remove Images from PDF

You want to permanently delete embedded images from a PDF while keeping the text intact.
You want selectable, searchable text and vector graphics preserved, not flattened into a picture.
You need to strip photos or scans before sharing a document.
You want a browser-only workflow with no server upload.
